QUEST
Quest is a website which will allow students to do assignments online. This also allows students to have instant feedback on their work so they can see if they are doing the problems correctly. Likewise, as a teacher, I can have instant feedback on which problems an individual student or a class as a whole is struggling with.
Use the instructions below to create your Quest account.
UT EID
You must get a UT EID before you can sign on to Quest. Follow the steps to get the UT EID first.

On the left is a link "Enroll in new course." Click on this and enter the unique number. Use the pulldown to find Highland HS and then click on "Request Enrollment"
Algebra 1 Period 1- Unique number is 6
Algebra 2 Period 3- Unique number is 3
Algebra 2 Period 4- Unique number is 4
Algebra 2 Period 5- Unique number is 5
Algebra 2 Period 7- Unique number is 7

It tells you how to get started, how numbers should be entered, gives you information about how you can use multiple tries to submit answers, and how different assignments are scored when you can get additional tries to solve the problems. This is very important to understand so you know how to maximize your scores when doing Quest assignments.

UT EID
You must get a UT EID before you can sign on to Quest. Follow the steps to get the UT EID first.
- Google “Quest Learning and Assessment” and the top hit will be all the links to the program.
- Click on the link,https://quest.cns.utexas.edu/
- Click on the upper right corner, “Log In to Quest” (one line has the hyperlink)
- Under the circle (log in) there is a link to “I need a UT EID” (this is their computer ID for Quest) CLICK IT!
- Step 1/6 all the answers are NO.
- Step 2/6 Use your full name (no nicknames), email address and birthday. All other boxes can be blank.(not needed)
- Step 3/6 Password reset questions are by YOU the student. Your teacher cannot reset or recover a password. ONLY YOU the student can work to recover a password. Make sure you write that down for yourself so tomorrow you don't forget it.
- Step 4/6 Password and Password hint are required. It will need to be AT LEAST 8-20 characters and it must include BOTH numbers and letters.
- Step 5/6 YOU, the student, are responsible to REVIEW all your information and YOU should DOUBLE check information is the same you write down for yourself to log into Quest again.
- Step 6/6 Follow whatever steps you find on this page.
